I am the worst at blogging, I am really working on it though! I love reading everyone's blogs and it makes me want to blog. Kyle and I have been married for about 7 weeks now, and married life is fantastic. I enjoy waking up to Kyle (and Lil Debbie our dog) every morning. I have finally got the house into some what of an order with all of our new dishes and decor. I hope to get back in the "blogging" groove... I just need exciting stuff to happen now :)

A Weak Week
Finally back to work this week... Kyle had his surgery last week -- for those of you who don't know, my love had to have back surgery last Tuesday morning.. minor but they removed a pretty large part of a disk. Anyways last week was very rough for us. The first night was the absolute worse! Kyle could not sleep a wink, which meant I could not sleep, and for those of you close to me know I am not a happy camper when I don't get a full 8 - 10 hours of sleep. Being back at work is almost like a vacation, well kinda.. ok not really but for the first hour of not having to do EVERYTHING around the house plus some it felt good. I stayed home with him all week and we got all of our invitations done and by we I mean ME. It was a huge accomplishment, I almost felt as though I had conquered the world. The are all signed, sealed and hopefully if the addresses are correct delivered :) Kyle went back to work yesterday after I encouraged him to stay home, he had a rough day because apparently back surgery does not allow you to sit very well, so driving a car is hard for him. Oh and if you don't Kyle drives to Hot Springs everyday for work.

Less than 2 months to go and I am starting to feel the stress... Originally I had 6 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen, because i have a matron of honor ( michelle, my best friend) and a maid of honor (kristin my other half) and i was going to have them both walk back down the aisle with Kyle's bestman Kevin... well it started to bother me so now i decided to move Tripi who was an usher up to a groomsman... taken care of.. now the freaking grooms cake!! Kyle insists on having an icecream cake as his groomscake and not just any icecream cake, prepare yourself -- he wants a Dairy Queen Ice Cream cake... he is so perfect :) well the lady at the dairy queen has agreed to make a 3 layered ice cream cake which is awesome but now we are battleing with how to keep the darn thing from melting... any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated :) Oh and on top of all this Kyle has to have back surgery Tuesday, he has a ruptured disc that has to be "removed" as they call it! wow what a week we have ahead of us..

65 days and I will be a married woman, oh I cant wait! We have been putting the finishing touches on everything, and this is my first blog so let me catch you up to speed real quick. Kyle my wonderful fiance was in charge of picking the reception hall. We are having our wedding in Hot Springs because that is where Kyle and his family are from. Well Kyle picked the Elk's lodge, me not having the slightest clue what the Elk's lodge was I agreed without ever seeing the place. I had total faith in my future husband. Well about a month ago I finally got to go see this infamous Elk's lodge.... HOLY SMOKES !! ... the outside beautiful the entrance and bar area gorgeous, the actual room for the reception a nightmare! The walls were covered in plaques that "Elk's Members" had received and the layout was pretty much the worse possible layout a bride could ever ask for. Anyways the florist, my future mother-inlaw and myself decided that we were going to drape the entire place... so that is the process we are working on now, we ordered the panels and are making the 'T's , we have ordered the gossemar fabric and lights to do the ceilings. I guess I just never thought it would be so much work ...... Oh and to top it all off the lodge has a disco ball they absolutely refuse to take down!
